Klorane Eye Makeup Remover Review

Klorane

I’ve done several posts about eye makeup remover, which seems to be a thorn in the side of many makeup-wearing women. The key is to find a remover that actually gets the job done, without that greasy feel that makes you double check the label to be sure you’re not smearing canola oil all over your face. Many of the expensive brands accomplish this…but they’re expensive.

So I’m happy to be reviewing Klorane Soothing Eye Makeup Remover with Cornflower Water which retails for a mere $9, and is available at drugstores. Okay. Full disclosure–the first time I used this product, my eyes stung a tiny bit. Enough for me to notice but not enough for me to care. Reading the online reviews, I’d say about 1 out of every 4 mentions the stinging. The rest give high praise to this product, and I’m going to do the same. It hasn’t stung since then, and it is a great, great product. It smells really fresh and clean, it’s applies like plain old (blue) water, without a hint of oiliness, and it removes everything. If you have sensitive eyes or you wear contacts, this might be a product to avoid. But if you have pretty normal eyes that aren’t often irritated, this product is worth a shot. It works as well as my favorite luxury brand, Lancome BI-FACIL Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover, but for a third of the price.
