20% Off Sweaters at J.Crew
Most of our minds are starting to think towards spring; skirts and dresses with NO tights, sandals and open toe shoes, short sleeves. But, in actuality, we still have plenty of cool weather ahead of us. Perhaps not cold enough for wool cable knit sweaters, but definitely cool enough that a lighter knit would be more than welcome layered over our short sleeves. And in steps J. Crew with a 20% off sweater sale, no code needed, that ends tomorrow (3/19/13). Prices are still up there, even on sale, but they have some really fun pieces right now. Shipping from J. Crew is a flat $8.95, unless you hit $175 in your cart, then shipping is free. If you’re in the market to treat yourself to something pretty, and on the side of luxurious, you might find something in this sale. A few of our favorites…
A great transitional sweater for cooler to warmer temps, due to the linen/cotton blend in the weave . You should be able to wear this comfortably if the temps heat up a bit during the day. Available in Champagne, Modern Red, and Navy.
Talk about the ultimate in getting out the door fast! No need to worry about a necklace with this sweater. The built in chunky crystal bib will take care of that for you. This sweater looks great with jeans, but I could also see it with a navy pencil skirt and pumps. Here are some crystal earrings to pair with the ensemble. Now, if only stylish shoes could somehow be attached to pants so we could get both on in one fail swoop.
How comfy-cozy does this sweater look? It’s merino wool, so it will be warmer. The boyfriend cut is boxy, but the knit is very fine, so the sweater takes on a slouchy look. You can partially tuck it to give it some shape. Available in 6 colors.
If nautical is the name of your style game this spring, this striped cardigan should fit right into your lineup. The navy and white, plus gold buttons with embossed anchors, should satisfy your inner sailor. And as shown in the picture, it looks great with multiple denims. Plus, it’s actually affordable!
If you love to put a bird on it, this is a very fun way to do it! I love that graphic pattern, and from afar, it almost looks floral. Incorporate some complimentary, brightly colored jewelry and some neutral shoes. Or, bust out the pink heels!
What a lovely cardigan for the spring season. And it would work well for light indoor cover-up during winter too. The argyle pattern gives depth, and the tissue like knit makes it very feminine. Pricey, but likely to become a favorite. If you’re in the market for just a basic, solid cardigan, those are on sale in multiple colors.
Get your J. Crew sweaters soon, since tomorrow’s the last day for the sale. Happy Shopping!
