Rue La La Quick Picks

Rue La La has some great items on deep discount right now–here are a handful of quick picks that I’d love to see in my closet.

Barse “Cassiopeia” Bronze Turquoise Drop Earrings – $25.90 ($48); Barse “Tribeca” Bronze Gemstone Cuff – $79.90 ($266)

Aren’t these pieces beautiful? I love all the different colors in the turquoise earrings–so rich and beautiful. Turquoise is a great day piece–it easily pairs with jeans and casual wear. I also love this big chunky bracelet cuff. It features obsidian, quartz, drury and onyx, set in bronze. A really great price for having so many semi-precious stones. Wear as a statement piece with a little black dress.

Calvin Klein Petunia Stripe Jersey Dress – $59.90 ($99); Calvin Klein Electric Pink Pleated Dress – $59.90 ($134); Calvin Klein Heather & Pool Stripe Dress – $49.90 ($99)

Calvin Klein makes a great dress. Here are three good options. The first is a stretchy, striped number with beautiful, cool tones, accented by orange.  I could see this dress transitioning easily for all seasons. Wear with tights and boots in the winter and fall, a cardigan in the spring, and with just a pair of heels in the summer. Next up is a darling pink pleated dress. Looks like the waist is a bit dropped, so it would best suit a gal with a longer torso. This would be a great dress for summer weddings. Remember my Athleta Carried Away Dress review? I wore that dress again and I think I need to stock up on more super comfy dresses. It’s great to feel feminine, but still comfortable. I think this CK dress with casual heather gray and turquoise blue stripes would fit the bill. Light, stretchy fabric, and a great price.

House of Harlow 1960 “Tilly” Calf Hair Clutch – $119.90 ($220); House of Harlow 1960 “Tilda” Leather Clutch – $99.90 ($198)

House of Harlow has some really great, unique pieces. The more I see of this line, the more enthused I am. I love this midnight blue calf hair clutch–yes, that blue is actually dyed calf hair. Plus studs. What? So awesome. For those a little less adventurous, the cognac-colored oval clutch at right might be more up your alley. Leather, with snakeskin embossing, and a wild little panther clasp. Cognac is such a great color–it can truly be paired with anything. Darker browns, black, blues, greens–it’s the best neutral there is.
