J.Crew 20% Off

J.Crew doesn’t often have sales, so when they do, it’s an event. Through tomorrow, May 21, J.Crew is offering 20% off almost everything with code LOOK20. If you covet J.Crew’s classic clothing but have a hard time justifying the price tag, this is a good opportunity to save some dollars.

Camp Tunic Dress – $102.40 ($128)

I love this darling, simple dress. ┬áMade from navy blue cotton with crisp white trim. The silhouette of this dress is boyish–straight without any nipped-in waist–which looks great on some figures, not so great on others. If you’re unsure, find a store to try it on in first before ordering.

Indigo Dot Short – $52 ($65)

Printed shorts are THE thing this summer. These indigo shorts are created with bleach to make the dots, so they have a unique look. Pair with a simple top, or a contrasting pattern to add interest.

Pleated Short in Seersucker – $55.60 ($69.50)

These cute seersucker shorts feature flat pleats in the front, and small pockets on the back. They look to be higher-waisted, and they have a slightly flared leg. Probably best for ladies with small, trim waists. Not digging the chambray shirt they paired these shorts with–but I do think a button-down of some other kind would be darling–plain white or eyelet?

Boardwalk Linen Skirt – $55.60 ($69.50)

Linen skirts are my favorite for summer. Light, airy, and they look good wrinkled. J.Crew is offering two options in their new arrivals, one in white, one in light yellow. Pair with a tee, light sweater or tank.

Ratti Electric Kiwi Tank – $62.40 ($78)

J.Crew usually errs on the side of restrained style, but they really went for it with this tank. A bold pattern with shades of bright pink, yellow, and blue. This tank would look so great with a pair of skinny ankle pants and flat sandals.

Sailboat Tee – $36 ($45); Embroidered Eyelet Tank – $52 ($65)

Has anyone else been seeing lots of nautical-themed patterns and prints this spring? I think it might an up and coming trend. This simple tee at left would be great to have in your closet for when you don’t have the patience to put together something cute. Just pull it on, pair with jeans, and you’re done. Slightly dressier is the white eyelet tank at right. Doesn’t this ensemble look perfect? Pair with metallic sandals and great sunglasses for an amazing summer outfit.
