ModCloth Sale Picks
It’s a ModCloth sale! Whee! There are about 1200 items on sale right now, and if this sale is like previous ones, MC will probably add more items in the coming days. Some items are final sale, so check before committing to buy. Here’s a round up of our favorite bags, jewelry, and accessories available on discount.
Cutout for the Job Bag – $41.99 ($59.99)
Cute brown bag with cutout detail and gold peeking through the negative space. Great reviews, and a good basic in a good neutral for your wardrobe.
Color Me Bright Bag – $41.99 ($59.99)
If you want something a bit brighter, this darling orange satchel features a structured look and silver hardware.
Floored by Florence Bag – $110.99 ($157.99)
The Pantone color of the year! Well maybe not quite emerald, and more of a kelly green, but still very on-trend. For the steeper price on this bag you get real leather and hand-craftsmanship.
See Eye to Sky Bag – $132.99 ($189.99)
Another leather bag, this one has a saddle bag look, but in pure sky blue. I just love how ethereal this color is. Double plus bonus? A portion of the proceeds from this bag (and the previous one, both made by IllBeCa), goes towards charity.
Isn’t this cosmetics bag fun? I actually think you could get away with using it as a clutch if you were feeling whimsical. Check out the other pictures on the site–it’s bigger than it appears in these photos.
What a Day Bag – $48.99 ($69.99)
I had to include this romantic looking bag, but I’m not quite sure what’s going on with the material. It looks like it’s a gauzy, see-through material? It’s really beautiful and different, though–lovely for spring and summer. Or, if you’re a bride-to-be, looking for a bag to store some essentials (makeup for touching up, tissues) on your wedding day, this might be a good option.
I’m a sucker for paper. Stationary, tiny notebooks, fridge notepads–I love it all. If you like keeping paper in your bag for making reminders or grocery lists, this set of two notebooks look like they’d fit in most purses. FYI, this is a final sale item, so double check the specs to make sure you want it.
Retro Rosie Bracelet – $8.99 ($12.99)
Retro-style bracelets with gold hardware, and tiny rosettes. Available in both mint (but this looks blue on my screen?) and pink. Wouldn’t this be a cute favor for a baby shower? If the mom-to-be knows the sex of the baby, you could hand out the corresponding colored bracelet to guests.
Styled Just Sew Earrings – $12.99 ($17.99); Say It Ain’t Oval Earrings – $12.99 ($17.99)
I don’t need another pair of earrings. I know that. Intellectually, I know that. But these flower earrings that look like cross-stitch? SO darling. If you have a crafty person or a seamstress in your life, these would make such a great gift. More modern is the the pretty pink pair at right that resembles a mosaic.
Finally, this affordable necklace gets away with looking much more expensive than it is. I actually have a similar necklace made from real gold, and this has the same look, though it’s just treated base metals.
Happy Shopping, and remember to double check the return status of any items you are purchasing–some are final sale!
