Monday Sale Round-Up: ASOS, Rue La La, Fab
Last night at 10pm I thought, ugh, tomorrow is Monday. Boo-hoo. What better way to get through than a fabulous sale. Today we’re bringing you a round-up of some small sales going on right now from ASOS, Rue La La, and Fab. End dates/times for these sales vary (some aren’t given), and some, specifically Rue La La, are final sale, so double check return policies before committing to buy!
It’s an owl! On a baby blue bag! Ahhhh! Love this super cute, super reasonably priced bag. The owl trend is still going strong, and this is a cheap way to get in on it.
This simple beauty is real leather and features a feminine scalloped edge across the top. Nice and slim–this would be perfect as a work bag for hauling around stacks of paper.
This set of two gold-tone chain bracelets is a classic staple for your wardrobe. It appears you can wear them separately, but I love the stacked look.
I’m sorely tempted to nab this dress myself. Simple cut, fall colors, and it looks really comfortable. I have found that French Connection dresses run at least one size bigger than what I’d wear in a more mainstream brand like Banana Republic or J.Crew, so order accordingly.
From Rue La La:
These Kate Spade sunglasses feature a slightly retro look, and pretty tortoise shell style arms (plus a little gold tone plate with the Kate Spade label).
Balenciaga–now there’s a brand not many of us can afford. Check out this super-discounted pair of sunnies–a nice deal if you love the brand. Love the octagon shape on the outside of the lenses.
How beautiful and summery is this white pointelle dress? Beautiful silhouette that is likely to flatter many body types–that nipped-in high waist is really flattering. Plus the gorgeous gathering below the waist and the pointelle detail along the hem.
What a unique and stylin’ dress! Apricot and white houndstooth up-top, and then white cut-outs on the bottom, plus a zipper detail over the bust.
Fab.com is one of my favorite places to get jewelry. It’s unique, it’s (usually) reasonably priced, and they have good sales from time to time. Check out these fun geometric earrings at left–if you’re thinking they look like guitar picks…you would be right. Brass triangles layered over blackened guitar picks make this a fun set of earrings (or a good gift for a guitar-playin’ friend?). Or, if your interests are in traveling, Designhype makes a number of cuffs that have the map of subways on them from specific cities. LOVE this idea! Another great gift for someone who loves to travel or has spent time in any of these cites: Berlin, New York, Chicago, or Milan.
Bike Spin Off Necklace – $69 ($80); Bow Necklace Gold Fill – $34 ($46)
I love being able to personally recommend a product. The necklace at left was made by Emily Rothschild, and she carries several necklaces that recall flipbooks. So one side of the necklace has a man on a bike, and the side has a woman who appears to be floating. You hold up the medallion and spin it on its axis and it looks like the man and woman are riding the bike together. I have this version and I just love it. Great for the toy-lover in you. At right, a simpler construction is this sweet bow necklace that would be great for layering with other small gold necklaces.
Remember to check return policies before committing to buy! Happy shopping!
