Report Amity – $56 ($70)
Mixed media, ankle strap, pointy toe. Many current trends represented in a flat that should be comfy!
The open gauge knit on this sweater adds great visual interest. May not be the warmest, but a long sleeve tee can easily be layered under it. Also available in Burgundy, but the only size option in that color is medium.
This is a large satchel (12″ x 16″), capable of carrying many items at once. This bag would be perfect for the mom that wants to leave the diaper bag behind on occasion, but needs room in her regular bag for some baby necessities.
This dress has already been marked down quite a bit, and now with the additional 20% off it’s very affordable. But why the previous markdown? There are no reviews on the dress yet, but those pleats look like they have the potential to make any curves look VERY curvy. This one might be best left to the ladies with more athletic figures. But if you’re curvy and just love the dress, you can try and balance it out with a thick belt.
This past weekend at a cocktail party my friend Amy paired a very sparkly statement necklace with a long-sleeved button up white shirt and black pants. It looked so very chic, and it just goes to show that these sparkly baubles don’t have to be paired with just fancy dresses.
Another stylish offering from Tinley Road. I like how this shirt has the faux leather/fabric combo happening, but opposite from what the norm has been (fabric body and leather sleeves). This is a very delicate and pretty top, yet the vegan leather gives it an edge. The sleeves and back are completely sheer, so you’ll need to wear a cami underneath.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s, anyone? These cat-eyes from Marc Jacobs are getting rave reviews on the Piperlime site. Also available in a tortoise/peach combo, but they’re back-ordered until January of 2014.
Due to the zig-zagging of black and grey, this coat looks more grey than black, which is a good think if you prefer something a bit lighter than the typical black. Plus, the pattern adds a fun visual aspect. The sleeves look a bit long, so might need some tailoring for petite gals.
Timex Originals Easy Reader – $56 ($70) & Fossil Mini Heather – $76 ($95)
Keeping the time in very fashionable ways!
Our final pick is a funky, fun bootie from Dolce Vita. The pinking, perforations, and covered heel are very Victorian inspired, but I don’t think Victorian ladies would have stood for a heel over 3 inches tall. But hey, at least we’re not forced to wear corsets! Also available in black, and you can find them in Burgundy elsewhere.
The Piperlime 20% off sitewide sale runs through 9/24/13. Use code THANKYOU at checkout, and remember that shipping and returns are free. Happy Shopping!
