A Review of SmartLash
SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer – $29.95 via Dermstore.com

Not to be confused with SmartBrow, which has been reviewed on this site before, SmartLash is a product that claims to enhance the length and thickness of eyelashes. It also supposedly works on eyebrows too, which is what I’m after. I won’t complain if my lashes get fuller, but the outer half of my eyebrows are just embarrassing.
SmartLash is a clear serum that you brush onto your lash line and brows. It does not contain prostaglandin, the hormone contained in prescription eyelash enhancers that can cause some harsh side effects. Here are some of the statistics gathered by SmartLash in clinical studies:
- Up to a 68% increase in the appearance of lash length!*
- 100% saw an increase in the appearance of eyelash length, fullness and thickness after 30 days.
- 100% indicated a superior performance of this product when compared to previously used eyelash enhancement products.
- 100% said they feel like they need less mascara.
- 100% would recommend SMARTLASH to a friend.
*Results based on a 60-day independent clinical study with product application twice a day.
I’ve been using SmartLash on both my lash line and brows for about two weeks now. Maybe I’m imagining it, but I swear my brow hairs are already getting a bit darker and fuller. I did take a before photo, so after the 30-60 days it takes to see results, we can all compare them together.
The kicker for me will be if the product is worth the $29.95 cost (which may go up at some point, as Dermstore is the only site selling it this cheap) for about a month’s supply. If my brows do truly start to grow in thicker and fuller, and if mascara makes it into my rotation much less often, then I might be sold. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
I’ll post about this product again in 4 to 6 weeks. Until then, I’ll be dreaming of Brook Shield’s eyebrows.
