Lauren by Ralph Lauren Alexa – $47.20 ($59)

Braided leather for extra trend

This tribal inspired sandal by Ralph Lauren is all over the place when it comes to reviews about the fit and comfort, but you can’t deny the looks are good.  The upper and lining are leather, the rest is synthetic.  One of the biggest problems gleamed from the reviews is that the footbed on these runs really narrow, so if you have a wider foot you’ll want to skip these.  Available in five colors.  We have a pair of the “polo tan” on the way for an in person review.

Naturalizer Nieva – $60 ($75)

Love that cross stitching

Naturalizer is a brand known for comfort, and from what the reviews say, this shoe is a comfy one.  The rafia platform wedge gives it some extra style and height.  And the cute cross stitching and bow help this shoe make a statement.  The upper is all leather, and comes in Bright Shiny Coral, Black Shiny, or Portrait Shiny.

Hive & Honey Claudette – $63.20 ($79)

Modern with a retro feel

When someone says “retro” it usually calls to mind very “modern” lines and styles.  And what once was old becomes new again.  If you enjoy the retro trend that truly began to creep into the mainstream with the advent of Mad Men, consider these sandals.  The ankle almost has a gladiator feel to it, but the toe strap is all modern.  Some reviewers complained of their heel slipping off the back, some said the sandals are narrow.  With Piperlime’s free shipping and return policy you needn’t worry about sending these back if you have to.   Also available in in Cognac with a white or orange toe strap.

Calvin Klein Bliss – $63.20 ($79)

This is a fun, neutral heel.  The styling, with all the weaving, is fairly dramatic, though the color is not.  These will bring attention to you feet, but wear a toe polish the really pops to make even more of an impression.  Upper is all leather.  With the 1″ platform the true heel height will be just over 3 inches.

Seychelles Hey There – $80 ($100)

Well hello there!

Seychelles, a footwear company started in Los Angeles in 1984, focuses on vintage inspired, fashion forward designs.  I’d say this sweet sandal hits that nail on the head.  The way the t-strap wraps around the toe strap and is stitched off creates the look of a bow.  That contrasting triple stitch is continued at the top of the t-strap.  Piperlime only has this shoe in Orange and Cognac, but you can find a DARLING Seafoam version at Endless.com.

Vince Camuto Raven – $78.40 ($98)

Wear this Raven to go see The Raven

Unless you’re not an Edgar Allen Poe fan, then I digress.  Maybe meet your friends after they’ve seen the movie for a drink.  From the looks of the trailer, they’ll need one.    And you’ll need to sport these sassy shoes on a night out.  The weaved wedge and contrast stitching really make these sandals fun.  And according to one reviewer they are “like walking on air”, they’re so light.  Make sure to wear with a dress, skirt, or capris so you can show off those cute ankle straps.  Also available in “Canyon Brown”, but the weave on the wedge is much more striking on the black.

Indigo by Clarks Bella Peace – $55.99-$71.99 ($69.99-$89.99)

A turban wrap for your toes

Depending on the color the price changes with these.  They become less expensive moving from left to right.  These cute, slightly cut out wedges (click on picture to see heel) are sure to keep you comfy.  The wedge and platform are wrapped in cork, and the uppers are made from 100% leather, or denim fabric.

Kate Spade Lido – $100 ($125) or Coconuts Regata – $55.20 ($69)

Would you pay $45 more for one of these?

Believe it or not, I think I’d pay more for the Kate Spade Lidos.  I just love them!  Too bad a lot of sizes, including mine, are sold out.  What about you, which would you buy?  Tell us in the comments.
