The Weekend Dress Event at Anthropologie

Hoorah!  Looks like Anthropologie is getting a bit of a jump on the retail madness that starts next week and is offering all dresses at a 25% discount.  This is a perfect opportunity to nab a fun dress for any holiday functions you might have.  Or, pick one out for spring and have something to look forward to.  No code needed, all prices are marked down on the Anthropologie website.  Here are some of our favorites:

Hilda Shirtdress – $96 ($128)

The zebra print makes this dress.  It’s a great silhouette for many figures, and can be paired with so many colors.  It’s cotton, so you’ll need to layer if you want to wear it during the winter.  Lot’s of great reviews, and it’s recommended to size down.  Available in a blue stripe as well, and available in both regular and petite sizes.

Draped Tieback Dress – $118.50 ($158)

Another dress with great reviews.  This one is pretty basic, but the good thing about basic is you can add to it with accessories to make it much less than boring.  The dress is comprised of silk with a rayon lining.  Also available in black, and comes in petite sizes as well.

Scoopback Maxi Dress – $111 ($148)

This maxi dress comes in five colors!  A beautiful addition to your everyday wardrobe, you can dress this up or down.  The super soft rayon/spandex blend will keep you comfortable.  Nice coverage for your legs during the winter months.

Sapphire Lace Dress – $133.50 ($178)

From reviews it sounds like the quality of this stunning cocktail dress by Moulinette Soeurs is top notch.  Seems to fit true to size.  Take someone’s breath away this holiday season wearing a dress like this.

Mariposa Lace Dress – $186 ($248)

Another gorgeous lace dress, this time from Tracy Reese.  Available in the two colors shown above.  And once again, well reviewed.  You’ll make head turns in something like this.

Field Day Peasant Dress – $103.50 ($138)

Wow, when Beth told us last week that lace was trending, she wasn’t kidding!  Here is yet another lace dress, but this one leans much more casual.  That elasticized peasant’s waist often times looks best on slender bodies.  Available in the two colors shown.

Athena Dress – $186 ($248)

Another eye-catching garment from Moulinette Soeurs.  This dress will definitely get you compliments.  It’s such an interesting piece, and very feminine despite the bold color.  Love it!

Bing Spritzer Dress – $111 ($148)

A flattering cut will make this dress work for many women.  Word is the material is very thin, so this might be one of those “wait until spring” in your closet purchases.  I just love the retro styling, and the pattern on the red material looks just lovely.  If you can convince Uncle Bob to crank the heat in the house for Thanksgiving, wear it.

Notched Dots Cord Dress – $96 ($128)

There’s much love given to this dress in the product reviews, and I can see why.  A great graphic print dress for year round dress-wear.  Available in regular and petite sizes.

Kallos Buds Silk Dress – $141 ($188)

Finally, a gorgeous silk dress by Sariah.  Not going to be warm AT ALL, but it’s a beauty.  And if you don’t think you can swing it during the cold weather, this will look great come spring.  Very chic.

I haven’t even scratched the surface of all the dresses available at Anthropologie right now.  The Weekend Dress Event runs through Sunday, 11/18/12, at 11:59pm EST.  If you’re looking for a holiday dress, you’ll probably find it.  Buy yourself something pretty!
