The Cabin Fever Sale At ModCloth
With the start of spring exactly 2 months away, retailers are starting to hit the winter sales hard. ModCloth is no exception. Except, the Cabin Fever Sale currently running at ModCloth includes lots of items that will easily transition into spring. Be warned though, looks like all items are final sale, and sizes are very scattered. A few picks…
The two shirts on the outside can easily be layered under a sweater for winter wear, but can be worn on their own once the weather warms. A warning on the Bring out the Nest in You top, it runs pretty short, so if you have a long torso, you may want to skip it. The Sheer As Day top is one the of “Be The Buyer” picks. The Rules of Ardor top is so cute, but sizes are all but gone.
Can anyone else see Mary on Downton Abbey sporting the Damask You Wish dress, now that they’ve entered the roaring 20’s? What a fun garment! The Fuchsia and Far Between dress looks to have a fit that will compliment many figures, but especially curvy. The Garnet Attention dress looks to be another vintage inspired jewel, and the Birds & The Beads dress would look right at home on any girl that rocks a hipster vibe.
Shoes sizes are ALL over the place, so your best bet would be to filter shoes by your size, then shop from there. Above were a few favorites though. If you like tall heels and a little sparkle, the Tiptoe Glow Heel would look incredible with a black dress and tights. The Sedimentary School Heel has a late 60’s-70’s flare to it, while the Vintage Resverve Deanie is reaching back towards the glam of the 50’s.
Beth mentioned in her Ann Taylor sale post that art deco is a really hot trend for jewelry right now, and boy is she right. Check out the pieces, and the prices, above. Clean lines, metal, enamel, and rhinestone’s hearken back to the jewelry of the earlier 20th century. A great time period to revive as far as design goes.
See anything you like? Get on it, because things are selling fast! Just remember, everything is final sale.
